Any absolute encoder is primarily intended to be used as a positional feedback device, enabling machines to be calibrated with high accuracy. The TKM100 is a solid multiturn absolute encoder designed for industrial applications where position must be tracked over more than one full revolution.

This absolute multiturn solid shaft encoder weighs just over 1.5 kilogrammes and features a stainless steel shaft, providing excellent resistance to wear and long-term mechanical stress. Unlike single-turn encoders, this unit is intended for applications such as linear motors and electromechanical actuators, where multi-revolution measurement is critical.

The non-corrosive aluminium flange and painted aluminium housing allow reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -10ºC to 70ºC, with storage temperatures up to 80ºC. Supporting continuous operation at speeds of up to 6,000 rpm and an output frequency of 0 to 20 kHz, this industrial solid shaft multiturn encoder delivers dependable motor feedback in demanding environments.
